The Palmerton Area School District announces that schools will be closed on Friday February 12, 2010 and Monday, February 15, 2010 in observance of the Presidents’ Holiday.

The PA Department of Education has presented the Keystone Achievement Awards to Palmerton Area School District to recognize the attainment of adequate yearly progress. Awards were presented to school principals, Gary Bruch, Thad Kosciolek, Kathleen Egan and Mary Brumbach .

Freshman game will be played at its usual time and the Varsity game to follow at 5:30 or 5:45. Girl's Varsity bus will leave at 3:45 pm.
